THE ADVANTAGES OF A BEMI-PLANNED HOME:

  • You can affect your alertness with warm white and cold white light. Cold white light awakens the body, warm white light calms down. Perhaps you sleep better and wake up quicker.
  • Energy-efficiency
  • You don´t have to walk around the house turning on and off all the lights
  • Unless you are a pro at lighting design, save time and energy by getting a ready-made lighting plan with the right lights at the right places.
  • Lighting design is an important part of the interior design. Many problematic areas can be detected early in the process of planning. Plans are easy to change, a decorated, finnished house much harder.
  • You will hear Wow! from a lot of your guests.
  • You can set and adjust the lighting yourself when you need.
  • If you choose to use the iBemi app, you can set and control your home automation from work, travel or elsewhere. Home automation can save you bigger troubles when alarms can be detected right in your mobile phone.
  • Your home is like a theatre. When you chose Bemi, it is easy to control the lighting for all the events in your life.

It works as a brain, KNX allows the right lights to shine with the right temperature at the right time.

Bemi lighting is preferably controlled by KNX home- and building automation. KNX also allow other functions of the house to be controlled by the same system; ventilation, heating, locks, etc. In 10 years each house will have home automation. If you invest in automation technique now you will be a precursor. In 20 years you will still be modern.

What is the difference between ordinary lighting and Bemi lighting design?

Well, if you want to buy a car you know that the standard car without any additional features is cheaper than the car with all the extra equipment. Don´t worry. We have made a comparison to make your choice easier.

HOUSE WITHOUT LIGHTING DESIGN

The electricity planner has marked the placement for the lights. You get to comment and move the placement of the lights according to what you think is best

You think that lighting design is equal to buying a good-looking (and expensive) design lamp.

You turn on and off the lights. You turn them on and off many times every day. Perhaps you use the dimmer once in a while.

You buy the lamps yourself, perhaps over the internet or

at the supermarket.

It is difficult to add any extra installations later.

You end up changing and selling the lamps that don´t work. You tell your friends about the lamps that you haven´t had the time or energy to install yet.

You wonder why it is so hard to create the right mood every evening.

Cost

2100 €*

*The cost is estimated for a house of 150 m2 with Bemi Standard KNX planning. The cost exclude lights, programming and technical devices.

You will probably live about 20 years in your house. When you divide the additional cost for lighting design by Bemi with 20 years, the sum is about 100€ per year.
